JAXA/Selene KAGUYA

Japan’s Kaguya probe was launched on 14/09/07, finishing its mission on 10/06/09. It carried several instruments, but the one used here is the Terrain Camera. Several products are derived from that camera, but the one used that consists of individual photos (rather than composites) are the ‘DEM TC Ortho” map. Those images (as well as other Kaguya data) are available here. This page discusses the ‘halo’ of brightened ground at the Apollo 15 site.
