Smoking Gun #4 - Visible wires

Well, to be fair it’s not the usual shit, but it’s still shit. What he’s picking out is this:

The clip is from Apollo 17’s flag raising session. It’s part of a long, unbroken television sequence where the two astronauts cross paths many times, and even get close up to the rover camera. In the background, miles away, are trails left by boulders rolling down the north massif.

Not once do we see them get tangled. Only once do we see this one tiny flicker of light off the top of the PLSS. Rasa strawmans the opposition to his claim saying that we claim it;s a glitch caused by cosmic rays, and that glitches can only be vertical.

No-one, ever, has claimed that this is a result of cosmic rays. Show me where they have. If they have, they’re wrong. It’s a glitch alright, but a glitch caused by light flaring off a bright PLSS and its antenna, ghosting away on a poor quality TV broadcast. Nothing more. No-one is ever going to attach a piece of string, or a wire, there. It would achieve no purpose. There would be no point to it.
